The integration of birth certificate issuance will also target private hospitals. The system has been run successfully at Regional Public Hospital (RSUD).

Edison Sianturi, Jakarta Head Dept. of Education and Civil Registration, said the integration will be firstly held in Budi Kemulian, Harapan Kita, Persahabatan and Fatmawati hospitals.
“We want private hospitals have the same service with RSUD related with birth certificate issuance,” he said, Wednesday (8/10).
Birth Certificate will Be Integrated at Regional HospitalThe service will be given when mothers are already registered at the hospital to give a birth. The form is already integrated as birth certificate form.
“5-8 hours after the birth, certificate will be delivered by our personnel to the hospital. Before it, the certificate must be signed by related officials,” he explained.
The system has been run at six RSUDs in Jakarta like Koja, Pasar Rebo, Pasar Minggu, Cengkareng, Tarakan, and Budiasih.
